Thank you for taking such good care of my old fish. He looks very happy in his new home. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Wish we could have been there.
We love the fish (whom Beth and I call Fritz Hundo, Russell calls Fujitsu, and John calls Chewbacca), and try to take good care of him, but his life must be somehow under the special protection of God for him to survive so long in this house, what with burnball matches and drunken boys filling the living room so often.
Dear Marie, It's true that fish might actually be a superhero, unable to do any acts of selfless heroics due to his confinement in a small round bowl. He does at least have a hardy disposition, as Dana mentioned.
We missed you both immensely at our Tgiving dinner on Friday! We miss you lots of other times, too. I hope Germany knows how lucky it is to have you.
